AMEER ABBAS ALI KHAN

Lecturer Criminal Litigation | Advocate Supreme Court | LLM (LSE) | LLB (Kent)

Barrister Ameer Abbas Ali Khan is the lecturer for Criminal Litigation for the Bar Transfer Training (BTT) course at the International College for Legal Studies (ICLS). He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent (UK) and an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK). 

After completing the Bar Vocational Course at the University of the West of England (UK), he was called to the Bar in 2003 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.  Barrister Khan began his legal career in the UK, advancing to become a Duty-Solicitor and Solicitor-Advocate of the Supreme Court of England, granting him the right of audience before any UK court, including the Supreme Court and the House of Lords.

In addition to his extensive legal experience in the UK, Barrister Khan is also an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and has served as the Additional Advocate General Punjab. He commenced a PhD in International Trade Law at the University of Portsmouth (UK), which he had to pause due to professional commitments but aspires to complete in the future.
